The Butterfly Valve is constructed with a peroxide cured EPDM resilient seat and a 416 stainless steel stem, providing efficient operations even under the most challenging conditions. Furthermore, it employs a cast iron disk, coated in Nylon 11, to enhance corrosion resistance, reduce friction, and enable effective use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.
It is designed to accommodate sizes from 2 to 20 inches with ANSI class 125/150 lug pipe connections, offering bi-directional flow and an extended neck for 2 inches of pipe insulation. The valve stem integrates a stainless steel composition with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, ensuring no points for corrosion access.
Functioning with the distinct characteristic of bubble-tight seat leakage at its rated close-off, it delivers reliable performance. While the service it offers caters to hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, its flow characteristic is equal percentage.
