The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a robust, 2-way, 12-inch valve featuring a flanged design with ANSI class 125/150 lug pipe connections. It achieves a Cv of 2563 at a 60-degree stroke and 8077 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. The valve is constructed with a polyester-coated cast-iron body that allows not only bi-directional flow but also offers weather, chemical, ultra-violet, abrasion, and impact protection.

The valve seat, made from peroxyde cured EPDM, ensures 'bubble tight' seat leakage at the rated close-off, while the 416 stainless steel stem has a tight internal double-D disk connection with no points for corrosion access, delivering resilient and long-lasting performance.

Its design also accommodates an extended neck for an extra 2 inches of pipe insulation, contributing to its wide operating temperature range, from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). One of its distinguishing elements includes the nylon 11 coated, cast-iron disks which are designed for corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and integration of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.

The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is suitable for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions and offers an equal percentage flow characteristic. It can withstand a close-off pressure of 175 psi, making it a reliable choice for diverse industrial applications.
