The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2-way, 12-inch industrial-grade equipment constructed meticulously for optimal control and longevity. Its distinct features include a polyester coated cast iron body, a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat, and a 416 stainless steel stem. It delivers 2563 Cv at a 60-degree stroke and increases to 8077 Cv at a 90-degree stroke.

This valve comes in sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches, compatible with ANSI class 125/150 lug pipe connections. It features bi-directional flow and an extended neck that accommodates 2 inches of pipe insulation. To ensure maximum durability, the device uses corrosion-resistant, nylon 11 coated, cast iron disks. These also help reduce friction, allowing for the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.

Its cast iron valve body is layered with a polyester coating that provides protection against weather elements, chemicals, ultraviolet radiation, abrasion, and physical impacts. The stainless steel valve stem is finely engineered with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection that eliminates corrosion access points.

One of its key features is a bubble-tight seat, ensuring zero leakage at rated close-off. Being versatile, it can handle both hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. It has an equal percentage flow characteristic and an operating temperature range of -40°F to 250°F (-40°C to 121°C). The valve can sustain a close-off pressure up to 175 psi, assuring its resilience under high-stress operations.
