The Honeywell Ball Valve Assembly 2 Way 2 1/2 in. NPT is distinguished as a Characterized Control Valve, featuring a Nickel Chrome Plated Brass construct with a 55 Cv rating. Designed for direct coupling, the valve assembly operates on a fail-safe spring return system, providing 44 in-lb of torque. Configured for a 24 V, 2 Position, 0/2-10 DC feedback, the valve commands high-performance control.

The valve assembly is available in a range of sizes from 1/2 in. to 3 in., and incorporates internal female NPT connections. It features a reduced B Port Cv, allowing for a consistent loop flow. Notably field-configurable, the valve can be set for either normally open or normally closed fail-safe positions. A removable manual operating control feature allows for control during installation or in case of a power failure.

The valve actuator can be conveniently mounted onto the valve in any of four orientations, and its shield-serviceable stem assembly enhances its robustness. With a broad Cv range, from 0.33 to 397, the valve assembly provides flexibility. Its simple installation in a globe valve T pattern means additional elbows or piping is unnecessary.

Serviced by hot and chilled water with glycol solutions up to 50%, the valve features an equal-percentage flow characteristic. It operates effectively within a -40 F to 149 F (-40 C to 65 C) temperature range. Built to withstand up to 361 psi, its design only consumes 25 VAC power, supplementing its operational efficiency. The assembly is also furnished with a plenum-rated plastic housing, ensuring safe operation in a variety of industrial environments.
