The Honeywell Ball Valve Assembly, with a 2 Way 1/2 in. NPT, is a characterized control valve with 1.3 Cv. It is made of Nickel Chrome Plated Brass and features direct coupling. With a torque of 27 in-lb, this controller operates in a non-fail safe mode powered by 24 V, floating.

It comes in sizes ranging from 1/2 in. to 3 in., all with internal Female NPT connections. With its reduced B Port Cv, this controller ensures consistent loop flow. The assembly can be manually configured in-field to adopt either a normally open or normally closed fail-safe position. It also has an easily removable manual operating handle, which enables valve control during installation or during a power outage.

The actuator of this valve assembly can be setup in any of the four orientations, and it also features a robust yet conveniently serviceable stem assembly. The valve assembly supports a wide range of Cv choices, from as low as 0.33 to as high as 284. Designed for efficient use, it installs in a globe valve T pattern, eliminating the need for extra elbows or piping.

The valve assembly is built for heavy-duty service, designed to handle hot and chilled water with Glycol solutions up to 50%. It maintains an equal percentage flow characteristic and can operate in temperatures ranging from -22 F to 250 F (-30 C to 121 C). It has a maximum safe operating pressure of 360 psi and operates on a power consumption of 24 VAC.

For easy and efficient electrical setup, this valve assembly provides a field wiring electrical connection for wires between 18 to 20 AWG. The connection setup is convenient with screw terminals located under the removable access cover. The housing of the controller supports click-on installation, which simplifies the installation process by completely removing the need for tools.
