The Honeywell Three-Way Ball Valve measures 5 inches with a CV of 400. It boasts of a flanged body made of cast iron, a Teflon seat, and a stem constructed from 316 stainless steel. Variants for this range are available from sizes 4 to 6 inches. All come with industry-standard ANSI Class 125 Flanged Connections.

One key feature is a removable manual operating handle. This is essential to control the valve during installation or during a power failure. It has a fail-safe configuration that can be set in the field for normally open or normally closed positions. For versatility in outdoor applications, it comes with an optional NEMA 3R(IP54) rated enclosure.

For the assurance of best-fit performance, the valve can be fixed at any of four Actuator mounting positions. CV choices are wide-ranging, from 91 to 650. Its globe valve uses an A-B-AB Flow Pattern and primarily functions through the Side B Port.

Compliance with utilization standards industry-wide is assured through its technical specifications. The valve is best suited for hot and chilled water with glycol solutions up to 50%. Port A to AB has an equal percentage flow characteristic, while Port B to AB follows a linear path. However, the flow capacity on this channel is reduced by 20%.

For temperature tolerance, the valve operates optimally between a range of -22 F to 250 F (-30 C to 121 C). Its sturdiness is tested against a closed-off pressure resistance of 70 psi.
