The Honeywell 3-Way 5 Inch Ball Valve with a Cv rating of 240 is engineered with a cast iron body and features a flanged design. The valve seat is made from Teflon, providing excellent resistance against heat and friction, while the stem is constructed of 316 Stainless Steel for increased durability. The valve accommodates sizes ranging from 4 to 6 inches and comes with ANSI Class 125 flanged connections.

A removable manual operating handle is incorporated allowing operators to control the valve during installation or even during power failures. It can be configured in the field according to the requirement as normally open or normally closed for the fail-safe position. This valve has an optional NEMA 3R (IP54) rated enclosure making it suitable for outdoor applications.

The versatility of this valve is enhanced by the option of four actuator mounting positions. Users also have a wide-range of Cv choices available, from 91 to 650, ensuring it suits a broad spectrum of requirements. In terms of flow pattern, it leverages the globe valve A-B-AB pattern with a Side B Port.

In terms of technical specifications, this ball valve can serve hot and chilled water along with glycol solutions of up to 50%. The flow characteristic from port A to AB is defined as equal percentage and from port B to AB is linear with 20% reduced flow capacity. The operating temperature tolerance is quite broad, from -22 F to 250 F (-30 C to 121 C) and it can handle a close off pressure of 70 psi.
