Honeywell Ball Valve, 3 Way, 4 in. 254 Cv - VBF3J21S0B/M

The Honeywell Ball Valve is a 3-way, 4-inch valve with a high flow coefficient (254 Cv). The valve is constructed with a durable cast iron body, a Teflon seat, and a 316 Stainless Steel stem to ensure long-lasting performance under varying conditions. With sizes ranging from 4 to 6 inches, it comes with ANSI Class 125 flanged connections.

The valve features a removable manual operating handle, facilitating control during installation or in the event of a power failure. The valve is field configurable, enabling the user to set it for either a normally open or normally closed fail-safe position as per requirement. Moreover, for outdoor applications, an optional NEMA 3R (IP54) rated enclosure is available.

The valve offers flexibility with the option of four actuator mounting positions. It can accommodate a wide spectrum of flow needs with Cv choices ranging from 91 to 650. Correspondingly, its flow pattern follows the Globe Valve A-B-AB model, with the flow primarily happening through the side B port.

For service, the valve can handle both hot and chilled water with glycol solutions, up to a concentration of 50%. Its flow characteristics are versatile with Port A to AB offering equal percentage flow, whereas Port B to AB provides a linear flow with 20% reduced flow capacity. The valve has an operating temperature range of -22 F to 250 F (-30 C to 121 C). Lastly, it is designed to successfully close off pressure up to 70 psi.
