Honeywell Ball Valve, 2 Way, 1/2 in NPT, 4.7 Cv

The Honeywell Characterized Control Valve is an industrially appointed, 2-way ball valve with internal NPT connections ranging in sizes from 1/2 inch to 3 inches. Manufactured from nickel chrome plated brass, this control valve features a MN/MS DCA Actuator Bracket.

The valve boasts a range of features for maximum control and efficiency. It has a reduced B port Cv to ensure constant loop flow. The field configurable fail-safe position can be set to either normally open or normally closed, according to the operator's preference.

An added advantage of this valve is the removable operating handle, allowing valve control during installation or power failure. The ability to orient the actuator in any of four positions provides additional flexibility during mounting.

The valve's stem assembly is also shield-serviceable. The considerable Cv range, from 0.33 to 2.99, makes it suitable for various operations. It casts a T pattern when installed, similar to a globe valve, hence negating the need for extra piping or elbows.

In terms of technical specifications, the valve can be used on systems employing water as well as glycol solutions up to 50%, both hot and chilled. It displays equal percentage flow characteristic behavior. The operating temperature -22 F to 250 F (-30 C to 121 C) coupled with a maximum safe operating rating of 360 psi underscores its durability and adaptability in varied operating conditions.
