Description
The ProSoft Technology MVI56-PDPMV1 is a PROFIBUS DP-V1 master module for 1756-format in-chassis platforms. Through a single optically isolated RS-485 PROFIBUS port it manages up to 125 slave devices and up to 1536 cyclic bytes, with extended diagnostics and support for PROFIdrive version 3.1, making it a standard way to bring PROFIBUS drives, remote I/O, and instruments under the host controller.
The module occupies one chassis slot, draws 800 mA at 5 VDC from the backplane, and operates from 0 to 60 degrees C.
