Description
The ProSoft Technology MVI56-MNET is a Modbus TCP/IP communication module for 1756-format in-chassis platforms. It supports both client and server roles, with up to five clients on each of its two service ports, allowing the host controller to poll Modbus TCP devices while simultaneously serving data to SCADA hosts.
The module provides a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interface, a 5000-word internal data memory, LED status indicators, and a four-character scrolling display for diagnostics.
