The Fagor R-S3BF50 (part number 8BAA1463) is a replacement reader head with absolute position output over the Fanuc protocol. This version has an air entry for purging the scale with air.
It is used on Fagor S3B slim absolute linear encoders, which cover 70 mm to 1,240 mm with +/-5 µm or +/-3 µm accuracy. Absolute heads report position as soon as the machine is powered on, with no reference run. Supplied as a spare part. To be sure of fit, match the model code and part number to the reader head on your existing scale.
