The National Instruments SH68-C68-S cable is a high-performance 68-Pin VHDCI to 68-Pin .050 Series D-Type cable designed for seamless connectivity between NI-73xx motion controllers, PXI motion controllers, and PCI controllers with the UMI-7764 motion interface. This cable features a 68-pin VHDCI male connector that interfaces directly with NI motion controllers, while the opposite end is equipped with a 68-pin 0.50 Series D-Type connector compatible with the UMI-7764. The SH68-C68-S is optimized for use with PXIe-6738 and PXIe-6739 devices within an NI-6723 system setup. Constructed with shielded twisted pairs, the cable ensures reliable signal integrity, exhibiting a time delay of 1.45 ± 0.05 ns/ft and differential impedance of 132 ohms ± 10 ohms at TDR, along with a maximum mutual capacitance of 12.5 pF/ft. Available in three lengths—0.5 m (Part Number: 186381-0R5), 1 m (Part Number: 186381-01), and 2 m (Part Number: 186381-02)—the only variation between these models lies in their respective lengths.
