National Instruments PXI-8220

The National Instruments PXI-8220 (Part Number: 777689-01) is a versatile 2-slot PC Card carrier designed for integration within PXI and CompactPCI systems. This module accommodates two PC cards, enhancing system expandability while supporting various PCMCIA functionalities. It is compatible with legacy PXI embedded controllers, including the NI PXI-8150, PXI-8150B, and PXI-8170 series. The PXI-8220 supports 16-bit PCMCIA PC cards and is engineered to control two independent PC card sockets, accepting either a single type III card or dual type I/type II cards. A distinctive feature of this carrier is its implementation of Serialized IRQ, which facilitates communication between ISA legacy components and PCI controllers within PXI or CompactPCI frameworks. The module is equipped with two independent LED status indicators, ensuring correct configuration and installation of the PC cards. It provides an integrated power supply capable of delivering 3.3 or 5 V required for the cards, and it features two 68-pin PC Card sockets.
