National Instruments PXI-6704

The National Instruments PXI-6704 (Part Number: 777796-01) is a high-performance PXI Analog Output Module designed for creating software-timed voltage and current output applications. This module features 32 analog output channels, each with user-configurable voltage ranges, allowing for flexible output configurations. The PXI-6704 utilizes a single 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that is time-division multiplexed to deliver multiple output channels, supported by individual track-and-hold circuits that maintain channel values between DAC updates. It provides an analog voltage output range of -10.1 V to 10.1 V and includes eight digital TTL/CMOS I/O lines.

Incorporating advanced self-calibration capabilities, the PXI-6704 features internal calibration channels for voltage offset, voltage gain, current offset, and current gain, ensuring precise adjustments and minimizing errors across all output channels. The output calibration channels are routinely scanned and updated in conjunction with the analog output channels, resulting in improved accuracy and performance.
