National Instruments PXI-5652

The National Instruments PXI-5652 is a high-performance PXI RF Analog Signal Generator, featuring a frequency range from 500 kHz to 6.6 GHz and a maximum output power of 12 dBm. Designed for versatility, this module allows users to disable the RF output through the Output Property enable option and adjust the enable status dynamically during waveform generation. The calibration of the PXI-5652 adheres to NIST-traceable standards across a specified working temperature range and encompasses frequency accuracy and amplitude precision calibrations, ensuring reliable performance in various applications.

Equipped with the NI-RFSG instrument driver, the PXI-5652 supports multiple software environments including NI LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and C, enhancing its usability across different programming contexts. It provides functionality for Frequency Shift Keying (FSK), enabling the generation of 2-FSK signals with control over internal modulation waveform types, symbol rates, and FSK deviations, which are calculated by the NI-RFSG software. Additionally, the PXI-5652 supports On-Off Keying (OOK), allowing users to control the carrier signal power through discrete levels determined by the modulation waveform and symbol rates.
