National Instruments PXI-2570

The National Instruments PXI-2570 Relay Module (Part Number: 778572-70) is a high-density PXI relay solution featuring 40 individual single-pole double-throw (SPDT), latching relays designed to optimize relay density within a single PXI slot. This module's configuration allows for seamless switching between a normally closed (NC), a normally open (NO), and a common (COM) terminal for each relay, enabling efficient handling of a few hundred automated test equipment (ATE) loads in a single PXI chassis or an extensive setup across multiple chassis. With a switch bandwidth of 40 MHz, the PXI-2570 supports automatic scanning capabilities that significantly improve throughput in automated test applications by allowing users to download and cycle through lists of up to 32,000 switch associations without processor interference. For enhanced performance, the PXI-2570 can be paired with instruments such as the NI PXI-4070 6 1⁄2-digit FlexDMM. The module's dimensions are 8.5 in. by 0.8 in. by 5.1 in., and it weighs approximately 5.5 oz. Its operational temperature range is 0 °C to 55 °C, while it can be stored in temperatures from -20 °C to 70 °C. The device shows resilience against vibrations, with operating and non-operating random vibration ratings of 0.31 grms and 2.46 grms respectively, across a frequency range of 5 to 500 Hz.
