The National Instruments PXI-2532B is a high-performance PXI Matrix Switch Module designed to accommodate high-density switching applications with up to 512 crosspoints. Optimized for flexibility, this 3U PXI module supports matrix configurations of up to 4×128 or 8×64 in a single unit, facilitating expansive automated test setups that require a significant number of connections. For users needing even larger matrix sizes, the PXI-2532B can be interconnected with multiple modules using the NI R1616 expansion link and compatible TB-264xB terminal blocks, allowing for configurations such as a 4×256 one-wire matrix.

Equipped with advanced compact reed relays, the PXI-2532B offers impressive switching speeds of up to 2,000 cycles per second, ensuring optimal throughput when synchronizing with other instrumentation. This module is capable of handling signals up to 100 VDC/100 Vp and 0.5 A, with a maximum switching power of 10 W per channel. The module is equipped with two Samtec ERM8-EM series I/O connectors for high-density signal connections.
