National Instruments PXI-1036

The National Instruments PXI-1036 chassis (Part Number: 779382-01) is designed to meet the demanding cooling and power requirements of contemporary PXI applications, making it an ideal solution for remote control, real-time processing, and data acquisition tasks. This cost-effective chassis accommodates five slots for measurement modules and operates with either a remote controller or a 2-slot embedded controller. Featuring compatibility with all current PXI and CompactPCI modules, the PXI-1036 supports a maximum system bandwidth of 132 MB/s and boasts a slot cooling capacity of 30 W.

The chassis includes a star trigger (ST) capability in slot 2, allowing for dedicated trigger lines to slots 3 through 6. This configuration is particularly beneficial for modules equipped with ST functionality, enabling precise trigger management across peripheral modules. Furthermore, users can install any standard peripheral module in slot 2 if advanced triggering is not required. The PXI-1036 is equipped with an AC input voltage range of 100 to 240 VAC, with a frequency of 50/60 Hz and a current rating between 4-2 A.

All slots on the chassis share eight PXI trigger lines that can be utilized for various synchronization tasks, allowing for coordinated operations among multiple PXI peripheral modules.
