The National Instruments PCI-6011E is a Multifunction Data Acquisition Device (DAQ) designed for versatile applications such as control processes, high-speed data logging, and high-voltage signal measurements. Featuring 16 single-ended analog inputs or 8 differential inputs, two 12-bit analog outputs, and two 24-bit counters, this E Series device provides a robust solution for data acquisition needs. The analog inputs support a sampling rate of 20 kS/s with 16-bit resolution, while the analog outputs also operate at 20 kS/s but feature 12-bit resolution. It incorporates eight programmable function input (PFI) lines for software-controlled routing of timing and digital signals, facilitating seamless synchronization through RTSI or PXI Trigger Bus connections. The PCI-6011E is specifically engineered to minimize temperature-related deviations, with a specification of approximately 0.0006% of the measured parameter per °C, and features software-controlled self-calibration alongside a precise voltage reference to ensure accuracy in measurements. This DAQ also includes an NI PGIA, an advanced instrument measurement class amplifier, delivering consistent settling times across all gain settings. Compatible with 5 VTTL digital triggers sourced from PFI <0...9> and RTSI <0...6>, and able to generate triggers with a minimum pulse width of 10 ns, this device also features two up/down counter/timers and a frequency scaler for timing I/O functions.
