National Instruments NI-5771

The National Instruments NI-5771 is a high-performance 2-channel digitizer adapter module specifically engineered for FlexRIO systems. This module features an impressive bandwidth of 900 MHz and is capable of delivering an 8-bit resolution. The NI-5771 can achieve a maximum sample rate of 3.0 GS/s for single-channel operation and 1.5 GS/s for dual-channel configurations, accommodating an analog input voltage range from -0.675 V to 0.675 V. It is fully compatible with Virtex-5 and Kintex-7 FPGAs, providing flexibility for users developing complex applications.

The module is equipped with two SMA-type analog input connectors (AI 0 and AI 1) that support DC input coupling. It includes a 1.5 GHz VCXO-type onboard internal sample clock, along with CLK IN and CLK OUT connectors for synchronization. The AUX I/O connector is an HDMI type, and although users can connect a standard HDMI cable, please note that it does not function as an HDMI interface. The NI-5771 also features 12 bi-directional channels (4 PFI and 8 DIO) that comply with the 3.3 V LVCMOS interface standard, and a single-ended, SMB-type TRIG connector for triggering capabilities.

Constructed to enable robust connectivity, the NI-5771 supports any 50 Ω coaxial, shielded cable for connecting to its front panel connectors. The module weighs approximately 413 g and has dimensions of 12.9 x 2.0 x 12.1 cm. Additionally, it is supported by comprehensive software resources, including numerous example projects designed to facilitate the creation of LabVIEW FPGA applications.
