National Instruments TB-2627

The National Instruments TB-2627 Terminal Block is a high-quality screw terminal solution specifically designed for use with the PXI/PXIe-2527 switch modules. As part of the National Instruments terminal block family, the TB-2627 facilitates seamless interfacing and configuration for various multiplexer setups, including 64 x 1 single-wire, 32 x 1 double-wire, 16 x 1 quadruple-wire configurations, as well as dual 32 x 1 single-wire and dual 16 x 1 double-wire configurations. To operate the TB-2627, users will need a compatible PXI chassis, the PXI/PXIe-2527 switch module, along with basic tools such as a wire insulation stripper, a 1/8 inch flathead screwdriver, and a wire cutter.

The TB-2627 is equipped with screw terminals that provide reliable connections for all multiplexer channels and features a built-in cold-junction sensor (thermistor) located near the J13 connector on the PCB. This sensor offers an output ranging from 0.2 V to 0.024 V over a temperature range of 0 °C to 50 °C, with accuracy specifications of ±0.5 °C from 15 °C to 35 °C, and ±1.0 °C outside this range. The maximum switching voltage for both channel-to-channel and channel-to-earth is rated at 300 V, ensuring safe operation within specified limits.
