National Instruments SC-2072

The National Instruments SC-2072 is a versatile termination breadboard designed for compatibility with various NI DAQ instruments and a range of computer systems, including Macintosh, IBM PS/2 Micro Channel, and PC/AT/XT compatible systems. This model is available in two versions: the SC-2072D, which features an integrated DC-to-DC converter that outputs +15 V and -15 V from a +5 V input, specifically for analog applications, while the standard SC-2072 lacks this converter. Both versions offer the same functionality, including a robust configuration for signal connections with 54 screw terminals, accommodating easy interfacing with digital, timing, analog, and trigger signals. The device includes a 50-pin male ribbon cable connector for I/O and 36 labeled or numbered screw terminals for additional field connections. With dimensions of 7.9 by 4.9 by 1.8 inches, the SC-2072 is also equipped with terminals for connecting digital power and ground inputs to external power supplies. While National Instruments has announced that the SC-2072 is obsolete, it remains available for purchase and repair through Apex Waves.
