National Instruments PXI-6733

The National Instruments PXI-6733 is a high-performance PXI Analog Output Module designed for demanding applications requiring precision and flexibility. This module features eight analog output channels, each capable of a maximum update rate of 1 MS/s and offering a 16-bit resolution with an output voltage range from -10 V to 10 V. It boasts a FIFO buffer size of 16,384 samples and supports three DMA channels, ensuring efficient data handling for complex tasks. In addition to its analog outputs, the PXI-6733 includes eight digital I/O channels compatible with TTL/CMOS standards, as well as two counter/timer I/O channels with a resolution of 24 bits and base clock frequencies of 20 MHz and 100 MHz.

The module leverages the PXI trigger bus for synchronization with additional data acquisition, motion control, and vision systems, allowing for tailored solutions in stimulus-response testing, including applications such as acoustic distortion testing and open-loop simulations like three-phase power emulation. Designed for ease of use, the PXI-6733 eliminates the need for DIP switches, jumpers, or potentiometers, facilitating straightforward software configuration and calibration through the NI MXI Interface to Everything (MITE) bus interface. The PXI-6733 can be installed in any available PCI system slot or 5 V PXI expansion slot. For optimal motion performance, users are advised to provide ample space between this module and other devices. Fully compliant with the PXI Specification Revision 2.0, the PXI-6733 autonomously manages bus-related configurations without user intervention. The device operates on the NI-DAQmx driver software, which is compatible with various application development environments such as LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and Measurement Studio.
