The National Instruments PXI-6031E is a high-performance multifunction data acquisition (DAQ) device designed for demanding applications in industrial automation and control systems. Engineered within the E Series, this device features 64 single-ended or 32 differential analog input channels with a 16-bit resolution and a maximum sampling rate of 100 kS/s, accommodating an input voltage range of ±0.1 to ±10 V. The PXI-6031E includes 14 selectable input ranges, complemented by a FIFO buffer size of 1,024 samples and onboard memory capable of managing 512 samples.

This multifunction DAQ accommodates three DMA channels with scatter-gather capabilities, enabling flexible data routing across various sources and destinations including analog input, analog output, and counter/timer functions. Connectivity is facilitated through a 0.05 D-type, 100-pin female connector, and the unit operates at a power supply range of +4.65 to +5.25 VDC at 1 A.
