National Instruments PXI-5142

The National Instruments PXI-5142 is a high-resolution 100 MS/s digitizer optimized for communication signal estimations, featuring two channels for low-noise measurements. This oscilloscope excels in applications requiring precision and offers onboard digital signal processing capabilities including quadrature digital down-conversion (DDC) and anti-alias filtering, enabling efficient baseband I/Q decimation. The PXI-5142 supports a wide dynamic range with programmable input impedance options of 50 Ω or 1 MΩ, along with input voltage ranges from 200 mV to 20 V. Additionally, it can capture over half a million waveforms in its memory, making it suitable for comprehensive time and frequency domain analysis.

The module is equipped with PXI synchronization capabilities, utilizing the NI TClk driver to align the sample clocks across multiple devices within a single chassis, all set to the same parameters for enhanced data integrity. The PXI-5142 is designed for integration with NI-SCOPE driver software, ensuring compatibility with popular software development environments such as LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and Measurement Studio.
