The National Instruments PXI-4070 is a high-performance, 6.5-digit FlexDMM designed for precision measurements in industrial automation and research applications. With its advanced FlexDMM technology, the PXI-4070 offers high throughput rates and exceptional accuracy, achieving sampling rates of up to 1.8 MS/s across all voltage and current ranges. Equipped with comprehensive analysis capabilities in NI LabVIEW, users can effectively analyze waveforms in both time and frequency domains. This digital multimeter integrates multi-instrument functionality, eliminating the need for additional data acquisition devices or signal conditioning hardware, thus minimizing overall system costs.

The PXI-4070 supports both DC and AC measurements, featuring a DC system with a 100/s range/function change rate, a resistance auto-range time of 50 ms, and a maximum trigger rate of 6 kHz. Its AC system provides a range/function change rate of 10/s and a maximum trigger rate of 1 kHz, coupled with a trigger latency of just 2 μs. The device is also designed with a built-in self-calibration feature that compensates for temperature-related variations and long-term drift, ensuring measurement stability across the specified operating temperature range of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. An external calibration every two years further reduces downtime and maintenance costs.

While the PXI-4070 was designated as obsolete following its Last Time Buy Date in December 2018, it remains available for purchase and repair through Apex Waves.
