The National Instruments PCI-6250 is a high-performance Multifunction Data Acquisition (DAQ) board designed for accurate and efficient high-speed data readings. This M-series DAQ offers enhanced measurement precision through the use of NI-MCal calibration technology, ensuring reliable data across all applications. Equipped with an onboard NI-PGIA 2 amplifier, the PCI-6250 excels in capturing samples from all channels at elevated sampling rates. The device supports NI-DAQmx driver software and is compatible with NI LabVIEW, making integration into measurement systems seamless.

This multifunction DAQ features eight differential analog input channels, which can be configured to act as 16 single-ended channels, with a timing resolution of 50 ns. It boasts a maximum sampling rate of 1.25 megasamples per second in single-channel mode, decreasing to 1 megasample per second per channel in multichannel modes. The input voltage range spans from +0.1 V to +10 V, with a maximum operational voltage of +11 V. Additionally, the PCI-6250 includes 24 independent digital input/output channels, which can be assigned flexibly as either inputs or outputs, and features two general-purpose 32-bit counters/timers.

For clock sourcing, the PCI-6250 offers both internal and external options, with fixed internal clock frequencies of 0.1 MHz, 20 MHz, and 80 MHz, as well as an external clock frequency range of 0-20 MHz. The device connects via a single 68-pin VHDCI connector and measures 3.8 x 6.1 inches, weighing 5 ounces.
