Description
The Honeywell Pneumatic Fail-Safe Spring Return is a robust and versatile control mechanism, capable of direct acting within a range of 2 psi to 7 psi. It is designed with a dual-barbed fitting, compatible with 5/32-inch and 1/4-inch outer diameter plastic tubing. The device incorporates a 3/4-inch stroke and a rolling diaphragm to ensure a long lifespan and minimal hysteresis.
Moreover, this fail-safe spring return can be easily affixed to a valve, offering the flexibility of installation even post-piping of the valve in the system. Its unique slide lock feature enables straightforward engagement to the valve stem, facilitating both direct and reverse action control. It does not include a positive positioner as part of its specifications.
Despite its flexibility, the Honeywell Pneumatic Fail-Safe Spring Return operates optimally under specific conditions. It is significantly effective within the temperature range of 0 F to 140 F (-18 C to 60 C). This industrially viable operational range ensures that the device will perform optimally under most common factory conditions.
