The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2-way, 6-inch valve featuring flanged fittings and a polyester-coated cast iron body for durability and resilience. With a Cv of 567 at a 60-degree stroke and 1850 at a 90-degree stroke, this valve offers effective control of fluid flow. It is fitted with a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat and a 416 stainless steel stem for resistance to corrosion and enhanced durability.
This butterfly valve offers versatility in installation with sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches and comes with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. For improved insulation capabilities, the valve is designed with an extended neck that can accommodate up to 2 inches of pipe insulation. With an aim to resist corrosion, reduce friction, and accommodate lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes, the valve features Nylon 11-coated, cast iron disks.
The valve body is laminated with a polyester coating to protect it from weather, chemical interactions, ultraviolet rays, abrasion, and impact. Moreover, the stainless steel valve stem features a close-tolerance, internal double-D disk connection that bars corrosion access points, ensuring the valve's longevity. The valve is tested to provide bubble-tight seat leakage at rated close-off for reliable performance.
Designed for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, the valve has an equal percentage flow characteristic and can withstand operating temperatures ranging from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). Plus, it boasts a sturdy close-off pressure of 175 psi. The Honeywell Butterfly valve combines efficiency, durability and versatility, meeting the demands of various industrial applications.
