The IC694MDL250 is a 120 VAC 16-Point Isolated Input Module by GE Fanuc, designed to deliver reliable performance in industrial automation applications. This module features 16 isolated input points that can operate on different phases of the AC supply or be powered from a single supply, accommodating various installation configurations. An integrated RC snubber safeguards the inputs against transient electrical noise, enhancing signal integrity. The input filtering time can be dynamically adjusted through the application program, eliminating the need for DIP switch settings. Compatible with multiple terminal block styles—including box-style (IC694TBB032), extended box-style (IC694TBB132), spring-style (IC694TBS032), and extended spring-style (IC694TBS132)—this module facilitates user-friendly connections to AC devices, although terminal blocks must be ordered separately. Individual LEDs display the ON/OFF status of each input point, with a green TB LED indicating proper locking of the terminal block and a red LED signaling if it is not secured. Safety is also prioritized, as indicated by the red bands on the door card warning users of high-voltage conditions. The IC694MDL250 can be installed in any I/O slot within the RX3i system, but it requires RX3i CPU release 3.50 or higher for operation; it is not compatible with Series 90-30 PLC CPUs. For optimal use, input filtering settings can be enabled in the software configuration, with a recommended Digital Filter Settings Length of 16. Configuring a Digital Filter Settings Length of 0 will disable input filtering. This module has a rated voltage of 120 volts AC, supports input frequencies of 50/60 Hz, with an input current of 7 mA at rated voltage, an input voltage range of 0 to 132 VAC, and consumes power at 220 mA from the 5V bus.
