The IC693MDL635 is a 125-volt DC Positive/Negative Logic Input module designed for seamless integration within the GE Fanuc RX3i system. This versatile module features dual logic characteristics, allowing for either positive or negative logic configurations, with a total of 16 input points organized in a single group sharing a common power input terminal. When an input point is activated by current flow, it translates to a logic 1 in the input status table (%I). The module supports a wide range of input devices, including electronic proximity switches, pushbuttons, and limit switches, thanks to its robust design. The front panel includes two rows of eight green LEDs, indicating the operational status of each input point by displaying “on” or “off” conditions. With a rated input voltage of 125 volts and a DC input voltage range from 0 to +150 volts, the IC693MDL635 ensures reliable performance. For terminal block wiring, the required torque range is 9.6 to 11.5 in-lb (1.08 to 1.30 N-m), accommodating copper conductors rated for 90°C, with options for 14-22 AWG single wires or 16-22 AWG in pairs. Importantly, only one type of conductor should be connected in a terminal at any time, prohibiting mixed sizes.
