The GE Fanuc IC693MDL260 is a 120VAC Grouped Input module designed for integration within the Series 90-30 PLC system. This module features 32 discrete input points organized into four groups of eight, providing isolation between each group while sharing a common connection for all inputs. It is compatible with multiple styles of terminal blocks, including box-style and spring-style, facilitating various installation preferences. For applications involving field wiring to AC devices, the use of extended terminal blocks is recommended to obtain the necessary shroud depth. Input filter times can be adjusted via a DIP switch located on the back of the module. An integrated LED block on the module’s front displays the ON/OFF status for all 32 input points, clearly numbered 1 through 32, along with a status indicator for the removable terminal block (TB), which signals whether the block is securely locked; a red LED indicates an unlocked state. Importantly, a status message will be sent to an RX3i CPU if the terminal block is not locked. However, this communication will not occur with a Series 90-30 CPU. The module is visually identifiable as a high-voltage unit through the red bands on its door card.
