The IC693MCM001 is a Digital Servo Interface Module designed for use with the GE Fanuc Series 90-30 PLC. This module, also referred to as the Power Mate J Interface Module, facilitates position control and integrates seamlessly with the system's I/O while enabling motion programming capabilities. It is essential to mount the Series 90-30 PLC in a metal enclosure to comply with the EN 61000-4-2 standards required for safe installation and operation. The module connects to a digital servo system, offering velocity control and digital torque with a servo loop update rate of 2 ms for the two-axis version, and it can process blocks in under five seconds. The intuitive configuration software supports up to 10 programs and 40 subroutines, utilizing non-volatile flash storage and user-defined scaling of programming units. Automatic data transfer between the PLC tables and the Power Mate J occurs without requiring user programming. Additionally, the IC693MCM001 features position capture strobe inputs for each axis and user-defined control inputs. To use the Power Mate J, ensure that the IC693 CPU firmware is version 3.52 or higher, and that IC641 software is version 6.01 or newer. For versions prior to 7.00, configure the module as a generic 16 point input module for optimal functionality. The IC693MCM001 system includes an I/O cable and terminal block with a 3-meter frame-grounded cable to the APM connector, and optional cables can be purchased separately.
