The IC693CBL303 is a Hand-Held Programmer (HHP) and Converter cable designed for use with GE Fanuc Series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). This 6-foot cable features a 15-pin male D-Subminiature connector on one end and a Type Canon DA15 connector on the other, providing a reliable connection between the HHP and the PLC. Constructed from Belden 8508 cable, the product includes connector shells, metric screws, and screw clips for enhanced usability. To utilize the IC693CBL303, connect the 15-pin D connector to the serial port of the PLC, while the opposite end interfaces with the HHP for power supply and signal transmission. For custom applications, users may create cables up to 300 feet in length, which would require a separate +5 VDC power supply using Belden 9309 type cable. It is important to jumper pins 9 and 10 of the connector, and to ensure that the +5V and signal ground connections are adequately isolated from power line ground.
