The IC693BEM320 is a specialized I/O link interface module designed for integration with the Series 90-30 PLC and proprietary Fanuc I/O Link systems, typically found in Fanuc CNC applications or Series 90-70 PLCs. This module functions exclusively as a slave device and facilitates high-speed data communication by enabling the 90-30 series PLC to send either 32 or 64 I/O points to the I/O Link. Configurable during installation, users can designate the module as either a 32 or 64-point I/O unit by adjusting the jumpers located inside the front cover. The IC693BEM320 can be installed within any model of the Series 90-30 PLC system, allowing for multiple I/O LINK Interface modules to be integrated, provided that the current limitations of the baseplate are adhered to. Technical specifications include support for a single slot within the universal backplane, communication capabilities through two RS485/422 ports, and status indication via LEDs for OK and RDY.
