The IC200MDL241 is a 16-point VersaMax AC Input Module designed to facilitate positive logic input configurations. This discrete input module receives current from AC input devices and returns it via the common terminal, with devices connected between input and common terminals. It efficiently provides 16 bits of discrete input data, utilizing power from the backplane while relying on the CPU or Network Interface Unit (NIU) for intelligent processing. Each module is equipped with LED indicators that display the on/off status for each input point as well as an OK indicator to confirm backplane power presence. During installation, it is crucial to inspect the module for any damage; any noted defects must be reported for replacement, as damaged units can lead to operational issues when connected to the CPU. The module offers isolation with an input to logic and frame ground rating of 250 VAC continuous or 1500 VAC for one minute. Notably, the on and off response times are a maximum of one cycle and two cycles, respectively.
