The IC200ERM001 Isolated Expansion Receiver Module is a vital component of the GE VersaMax series, designed to enhance the capabilities of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and I/O stations. This module requires the use of an expansion transmitter module (ETM001) when installed in a PLC rack or I/O station. It features LED indicators that provide real-time feedback on power status and the operational status of the expansion bus. The module has a maximum backplane consumption of 5V output and includes a 3.3V output. Equipped with two 26-pin female D-shell ports, the upper port is dedicated to receiving the cable from the expansion transmitter, while the lower port allows for daisy-chaining to the next expansion rack or connecting a terminator plug for the final rack. Power for the IC200ERM001 is sourced from the installed power supply, and if the expansion rack includes a power booster carrier, it should be connected to the same power source as the module. It is recommended to install the IC200ERM001 in the far left slot of the rack and securely attach it to the DIN rail at the left end of the expansion rack. A rotary switch, located under the access door of the module, is utilized for selecting the ID of the expansion rack. This module supports the use of all I/O and communication modules within expansion racks. For safety, ensure that all power is turned off before removing the module from the expansion rack.
