The IC200CHS122 is a Fuse-Style 16-point Interposing I/O Terminal designed by GE Fanuc for the VersaMax series. This terminal serves as an interface connector-style I/O carrier, facilitating the connection of field wiring while incorporating an integrated fuse solution for field devices linked to VersaMax I/O modules. There are two distinct types of interposing I/O terminals available: the main base, cataloged as IC200CHS121, and the expansion base, IC200CHS122. The main base corresponds to the "A" terminals on the VersaMax I/O module, whereas the IC200CHS122 accommodates the additional "B" terminals, making it essential for complete system integration. This module features a connector (J1) that links to the connector-style I/O carrier and provides 36 box-style terminals for field I/O wiring and power connections. It offers connections for terminals A1-A18 and includes two groups of common terminals for straightforward wiring of two-wire devices without needing extra auxiliary terminal blocks. Individual 0.5A fuses exist for each terminal, ensuring protection between the terminal and its corresponding pin on the VersaMax cable connector. Additionally, the IC200CHS122 is equipped with an expansion connector (J2) that links to another IC200CHS122 unit, ensuring consistent connectivity across all terminals. Built-in auxiliary terminals are conveniently positioned beneath terminals A and B, optimizing functionality for basic two-wire connections in field applications.
