The IC200CHS015 is a Spring-Style Interposing I/O Terminal designed for seamless integration between Connector-Style I/O Carriers and field wiring, specifically within the GE Fanuc Versamax series. This unit is equipped with a connector for cable attachment to the I/O carrier and features 36 spring-clamp style terminals for reliable connections. A transparent hinged door protects the wiring terminals while allowing easy access, and each I/O module includes a foldable board that can be housed within this door. For applications requiring additional field wiring connections, one or more auxiliary I/O terminal strips can be directly integrated into the lower edge of the IC200CHS015. Installation flexibility allows users to mount the interposing I/O terminals on the same DIN rail as the connector-style I/O carrier or on a separate DIN rail. To ensure maximum resistance to mechanical vibration and shock, it is important to install these terminals on specialized panels, with steel DIN rail recommended for durability. The DIN rail must also be electrically grounded to provide electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) protection, and it should feature a conductive, corrosion-resistant finish that is ideally unpainted. For optimal vibration resistance, screws should secure the DIN rail to the panel approximately 6 inches (15.24 cm) apart, and DIN-rail clamps should be used at both ends of the station to maintain proper positioning.
