The IC200ALG326 is an 8-channel, 13-bit analog output module designed for the GE Fanuc Versamax Series, providing reliable performance in various industrial applications. Each of the module’s eight single-ended channels operates collectively, offering current-sourcing outputs in both the 4-20 mA and 0-20 mA configurations. In the 0-20 mA mode, an output of 0 mA corresponds to a %AQ value of 0 counts, while 20 mA is represented by a %AQ rate of +32,000 counts. When configured in the 4-20 mA range, the output of 4 mA aligns with 0 %AQ counts, and 20 mA reflects +32,000 %AQ counts. The IC200ALG326 features automatic adjustments for negative value commands, ensuring they default to a 0 mA output regardless of the specified range when the module is installed in a PLC rack. When connected to a Network Interface Unit, any negative command values are set to the low end of the designated range. This module incorporates a configurable output range via a jumper, which also facilitates maintaining the outputs' last states or default settings in the event of backplane power or communication interruptions. It is noteworthy that incorrect hot insertion of the module may disrupt the function of adjacent modules on the same backplane. The IC200ALG326 operates within a voltage range of 18-30 VDC, with a power consumption of 50 mA from the +5V bus and comes equipped with LED indicators for field power and operational status.
