The Fuji Electric DB37-2C is a Dynamic Braking Resistor for the FRENIC-MEGA (G2) variable frequency drive (VFD). Rated for , handling repeated deceleration cycles.
When a VFD rapidly decelerates a motor, the motor becomes a generator returning energy to the DC bus. Without a braking resistor this regenerative energy causes bus voltage to rise and trip an overvoltage fault. The DB37-2C dissipates this energy as heat, enabling fast, repeatable, controlled deceleration.
Essential for hoists, cranes, centrifuges, high-inertia fans and pumps, and winding applications. Install with adequate ventilation. Genuine Fuji Electric OEM accessory.
