Which WEG drive replaces my CFW08?
For a direct swap we still list the CFW08. For a new installation, the CFW300 (up to 15.2 A) or the CFW500 (up to 88 A) with the same output current is the current WEG equivalent. The terminal layout and parameter numbers differ, so we confirm the mapping before you order.
Are WEG CWB and CWM contactors interchangeable?
Only when the AC-3 rated current, coil voltage and auxiliary contact configuration match. The CWB and CWM lines use different frame sizes, accessories and RW overload relays, so we verify the frame and coil code before recommending a substitute.
Should I choose a WEG soft starter or a variable frequency drive?
A WEG SSW soft starter limits starting current and torque, then runs the motor at full line speed; choose it for fixed-speed pumps, fans and compressors that only need a gentle start. A WEG CFW drive also controls motor speed continuously; choose it when the process needs speed control or energy savings at partial load.
How do I find a WEG part from a material number?
Search the material number on this page. Drives, contactors and relays are listed by their readable part number (CFW500A04P3T4NB20, CWB9-11-30D02) while alternators, motors and spare parts are listed by WEG material number (for example 15733639). If you only have one of the two, send it to us and we cross-reference it with WEG.
How long does it take to receive WEG parts?
WEG electrical products are quoted with a lead time from WEG's stock or production. Where a product page shows a lead time, that is the time to ship; otherwise we confirm it with your quote before you commit. Larger items such as enclosed panels, alternators and coating drums ship by freight.
Which WEG coatings do you carry?
We list WEG powder coatings, liquid coatings, automotive refinish products, impregnation varnishes, encapsulating resins, thinners and solvents by WEG product code. Coatings are quoted by product code with WEG's standard terms. Send us the code printed on the packaging and we locate the product and its technical data sheet.
How do I request a quote or place an order?
Buy priced items online, or click Request Quote on any product page. You can also email sales@industrialautomationco.com or call our toll-free number at 1-877-PARTS-57 (727-8757) with several part numbers for one combined quote. We recommend calling for first-time orders so we can confirm pricing, lead time and shipping.
