It provides one BusAdapter slot for the PROFINET connection and supports up to 64 I/O modules plus 16 ET 200AL modules, S2 system redundancy, multi hot swap, and isochronous mode down to 0.25 ms. Optional PROFINET strain relief can be fitted, and the server module is included.
The High Feature station head targets large stations, redundant controller architectures, and high-speed synchronized I/O.
