Description
The Maple Systems HMC2043A-M is a 4.3 inch combination HMI and PLC controller from the HMC2000A series. It integrates a color TFT resistive touchscreen operator interface with an onboard PLC engine in a single panel-mount unit, reducing wiring, panel space, and hardware cost compared with a separate HMI and PLC. The controller is programmed with Maple Systems' free combined HMI/PLC programming software, with ladder logic and screen development handled in one environment.
The base unit supports up to 1 snap-on HMC3 I/O module for digital and analog expansion, and includes Ethernet, USB, and serial connectivity with FTP and web server functions plus SD card data storage. Typical applications include OEM machine control, pump and packaging systems, and small standalone process skids. The unit carries UL and CE marks, is rated Class 1 Division 2 for hazardous locations, and has an IP66 front panel.
