Description
The ProSoft Technology PLX31-EIP-MBS is a standalone communication gateway that provides high-speed bidirectional data transfer between EtherNet/IP devices and Modbus serial devices. It lets EtherNet/IP-based controllers reach the wide installed base of Modbus RTU/ASCII serial equipment, including SCADA RTUs, meters, drives, and instrumentation.
The DIN-rail-mounted gateway runs on 24 VDC and is configured with ProSoft Configuration Builder, with an internal database mapping data between the two protocol sides.
