Although multiple I\/O Link Interface Modules in a system typically utilize separate links, configurations can be adjusted to allow multiple links on the same interface if required. This standard RX3i module features a removable front cover that provides access to a jumper plug, used to configure the module’s point selection; the factory default setting is for 32 points, with the option to switch to 64 points. The front of the module is equipped with two 20-point pin connectors, and signal levels are compatible with RS422\/485 standards.
