Choose a DRO kit

A DRO kit is chosen in three steps.

  1. Machine type

    Mill kits cover knee mills, lathe kits cover the cross slide and carriage, and grinder kits suit surface grinders.

  2. Axis travel

    Each kit title gives the travel per axis, for example 12" x 30". Measure your machine and choose a kit that covers it.

  3. Display

    Innova 20i for 2 axes, 30i for 3 axes, or the color 400i. EXTREME mill kits add a third scale for the quill or knee.

What is included in a Fagor ProKit or EXTREME DRO kit?
Each kit pairs a Fagor digital readout with the linear scales and mounting hardware for a specific machine travel. ProKits are 2-axis kits for knee mills (20iM or 400i display) and lathes (20iT or 400i display), while EXTREME kits add a third scale for the Z axis (quill or knee). Grinder kits pair the 400i display with scales sized for surface grinders. The kit title lists the axes and travel, for example 12" x 30".
Which Fagor Innova digital readout is right for my machine?
The Innova 10i, 20i and 30i display 1, 2 or 3 axes. The M versions are built for milling, the T versions for turning and the E versions for EDM; the general-purpose versions suit grinders and other machines. The 400i adds a color display and up to 4 axes, and the 400i-TS adds spindle control for lathes.
What is the difference between Fagor MT, CT, M2X, C2X and FT scales?
MT and MKT slim scales and CT heavy-duty scales give a TTL output at 5 µm resolution with ±10 µm accuracy. The M2X and C2X versions use a differential TTL output at 1 µm and are accurate to ±5 µm. FT long-travel scales use a steel tape instead of glass and cover travels from 3,240 mm to 30,040 mm, for long-bed lathes and boring mills.
Can I replace just the reader head on my Fagor scale?
Yes. We list Fagor replacement reader heads for M, C, G, S, F and absolute scale series. To be sure of fit, match the model code and part number on your existing reader head before ordering, or send us a photo of the label and we will confirm it.
How long does it take to receive Fagor products?
Every Fagor product is new from Fagor, and its product page shows its own lead time. We confirm the ship date with your order or quote. For an urgent machine-down situation, call us before ordering and we will confirm availability and the fastest shipping option for your part.
